Oct 23: Dakshina Kannada reports 329 fresh corona cases, Udupi 50; five deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 23: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 329 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 29,265. Out of these, 2,783 cases are currently active.

As many as 290 people were discharged on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 25,825.

A total of 657 deaths have occured so far, including four on Friday.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 21,320, including 50 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 1,388 cases are currently active.

As many as 182 patients were discharged on Friday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 19,754.

A total of 178 deaths have occured so far including one on Friday.
