Mangaluru: Naravi College pays tribute for soul of former principal Fr Edwin Mascarenhas

Mangaluru, Sep 30: St Antony College, Naravi organized a tribute for the soul of Fr Edwin Mascarenhas, who expired on September 20.

Fr Edwin Mascarenhas was one of the pioneers who started the PU college and became its first principal for ten years (2003-2013).

After the mass, a small tribute programme was held at the college. The correspondent Fr Simon D Souza, remembered and praised the service rendered to the college and church.



Former student Ashwath Hegde, director of Envy-Green spoke on the occasion, saying, “Fr Edwin Mascarenhas was a committed, active and an ideal person to be imitated by all of us."

Former student Dr Deekshitha, principal, Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, vice-principal, Santhosh Saldanha and lecturer Richard Moras were present. The teaching and non-teaching staff members of St Antony Educational Institutions, former students and the parishioners participated in the programme.
