Bantwal: Asha worker attacked with wooden log by man, case registered

Bantwal, Jul 9: A man attacked an Asha worker, who was on duty, with wooden log and injured her seriously on Thursday July 9.

This incident occurred at Chennaithodi of the taluk. Mamatha Gatty is the Asha worker who was allegedly attacked by accused Kantappa Poojary.

Mamtha received severe injuries to her hands and head. A complaint in this regard was filed by Dr Umesh Adyanthaya, medical officer of community health centre of Vamadapadavu.

A case is registered at Punjalakatte police station, based on the complaint given by the medical officer.
