Mangaluru: Jewellery shops to remain closed for five days over worsening corona situation

Mangaluru, Jul 4: Jewellery shops all over Dakshina Kannada district will remain closed for five days from July 5 to July 9 in view of the deteriorating coronavirus situation prevailing here.

All the jewellery shops including corporate jewellery shops will remain closed during this period.

A decision to this effect was taken by Dakshina Kannada Jewellery Merchants Association.

Those customers who have already booked their gold ornaments are requested to visit the shops on Saturday July 4 itself without fail.
