Modi's today's speech was really frightening..Many people might have quarreled among themselves on various issues especially woman who takes care of the family...Stocking of enough daily essentials may be absolutely required now onwards...
Only after listening to TV news after the speech ,we felt relieved...

Mantra of carona require immunity. The yoga will not fill stomach and it cause to lose extra energy. There's house arrest fine. Even in jail food and other essential supplied. The leader s have all facilities. Think nowof people basic requirements arrangements. You are in a position to rule and not ruin. Think not of Ambani and Adani butof sheep. They have no money no food no shelter no medicine no influence. Make order with clear guidelines sadness of one is better sadness of many. Prime minister must have knowledge of these things because of his past experience

I see TV anchors asking why people are outside. Please understand that not everyone has a godown filled with foodstuff and fruit & vegetable trees growing in their backyard. Even small grocery shops have closed in Mangalore now. No more food take-away, home deliveries. The government wants people to win the war with corona but will it matter if we die of starvation ?

I fully agree with you sir. What we need in time of emergencies ...... a system that can take care of the epidemic through the trained medical teams and look after the needs of the people for food, water and essential services. We are experiencing this in Mumbai. The PM declared Janta Curfew on a Sunday... and the next day no transport for the suppliers; as a result no vegetables, fish or meat. Today the Tomatoes skyrocketed from Rs.20 to 60....... No milk available in stores. No rice in Supermarkets.
Today when the veg vendors started moving the carts in localities, the cops came charging them; one of the fruit vendors left his cart and ran for his life. THERE IS SEVERE LACK of coordination in such difficult times. PM, CM, POLICE and our FAMOUS TV CHANNELS ..... declare different guidelines. I am a Heart patient; I ordered my medicines over the phone. Pharmacy man refused to deliver it home. Shortly there after I saw a police officer announcing over the microphone..... from tomorrow morning no one will be allowed to come out from their compounds; if medicines are required the police will help???? can you believe this can be done for a 20 million residents of this city?

There needs to be a system whereby key sector employees must be allowed to deliver essential things to the gate of the building.

Our watchmen had no food for two days; we the residents of the building provided him with some food and fruits.

You are right in raising your opinion.

Sardar Patel statue cost 3000 Crores & now its closed without any revenue.. If a hospital had been built with that money, it wud have been usefull now. Hope Modi comes with a sensible approach to fight Corona than asking to do stupid things. Watver nonsense he says, bhakts will do blindly. And crooked film actors will come with a balcony performance so that their video becomes viral. Did Ambani, Adani announce any financial support to fight Corona. Did Batchan give single rupee to Govt fund, instead doing family circus on roof top. Its high time to stop funding & expanding temples, churches, mosques, instead build more PHC, Hospitals.

This crisis is beyond imagination and want measures more than mere press releases. Modi led BJP failed India already unnecessarily. This crisis is beyond politics.

    1. Lock down is necessary, but need to ensure people are not starving and have normal medical supplies.
    2. Law enforcement agencies, need to be sensible. Just because they have batten in hand, need to use it sensibly.
    3. Need to have quick response teams to pick patients from home, keep them isolated, have appropriate medical care, withe nurses, attendants, doctors having necessary accessories to treat them.
    4. Training to safety, need to reach every individual families.

Failures to take appropriate steps in emergency footing, thinking and acting only with saffron painted eye wear, could be disastrous.

Even the USA is falling short of emergency medical equipment including masks! They expect the situation to be overwhelming in the coming weeks as more cases come in and work is on a warfooting to avert a crisis like Italy!

Here, without adequate protective equipment the police themselves might be terrorised to go near unknown people to enforce the law??

Only the Universal Creator can save us now as we have been battered by one crisis after another, and Covid19 seems to be the last nail in the coffin! I may sound extremely pessimistic, but that's my very frank opinion!

In Italy, more than 800 people died on a day and there were no people to lift their bodies. In an advanced country like this, I heard they categorized people into 3. Age below 40, age 40 to 70, and above 70. If a person of above 70 is treated with ventilator and a new case of below 40 patient needs that ventilator, it will be removed from old patient and given to the young. In our villages, we might have heard, why the old person was not taken to hospital, they used to say "parabe atte" and neglected their life. This is what is happening in Italy now.

The resources in our country, considering our population is very less and please cooperate with the govt and do not neglect your duty as a citizen. Be not the cause of many people's death.

Most chief ministers have taken over the complete charge, leading from the front and doing their best - they need financial support more , other countries have announced economic packages - stringent measures r ok but we need to survive.

Give freedom for States too handle the epidemic. Let States learn from reach other. Follow TN/KL model everywhere.

Let center sit and coordinate on critical resources like medical supplies and inter state consumable trade. Revoke/repurpose licenses of non essential good
