'Bunts Star IBCCI Achievers Awards’ to be held in Mumbai on March 1

Mumbai, Feb 12: Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) is in its 30th year of meaningful existence during which period it has carved out a niche for itself through efficient services and stellar achievements. The organization has now planned to present 'Bunts Star IBCCI Achievers Award 2020' for people from Bunts community backed by commendable achievements. The awards function, which will be on a grand scale, will be held at 4.30 pm on March 1, 2020, at Hotel Sahara Star, a five star hotel auditorium at the domestic airport in Santacruz (east) in the metro.

Former Karnataka chief minister and union chemicals and fertilizers minister D V Sadananda Gowda, union minister for road transport, highways, micro, small scale and medium industries, Nitin Gadkari, as well as Union Bank of India managing director and chief executive officer Rajkiran, will participate as guests.

At the function, Bunt entrepreneurs with noteworthy achievements to their credit and experts in other fields will be identified, and honoured by conferring 'Bunts Star IBCCI Achievers Award 2020' on them. The awards will be grouped under categories, 'Excellence in Business, Excellence in Professional, Excellence in Futuristic Start-up, and Star Performer in Hospitality Industry. Stalwart entrepreneurs from Bunt community and non-bunt entrepreneurs will participate as special invitees. They will present shows about their businesses, thus adding glitter to the function.

IBCCI executive committee has requested entrepreneurs who wish to provide information and organize presentations about their enterprises to contact IBCCI executive committee. Guests who want to take part in the function have been requested to obtain entry passes in advance either personally or through the website. The committee has requested all the members and invitees to take part in the function and extend support for the success of the function.

The Bunts, who had been highly successful in hotel business not only in the financial capital of the country but also everywhere else, have also got involved with different kinds of industrial fields and are marching towards entrepreneurship since the last over 30 years. The organization has now on the threshold of celebrating 30 years of service to the community.
