Cong to march in Delhi against crimes on women

New Delhi, Dec 13 (IANS): In a bid to call attention to the rising crimes against women, the Congress' women's wing will organise a march in the national capital on Friday.

Briefing the media, Congress women leaders including Sushmita Dev and Sharmishta Mukherjee said that the march will begin from Mandi House at 4.30 p.m. and conclude at Jantar Mantar.

While the march is organised by the Congress, Sushmita Dev clarified that the march is apolitical and not targeting any individual or political party.

Termed as "I am courageous" or "Main saahasi hoon", the march is being taken out to promote solidarity among women and raise voice against the rising crimes against women.
