Mumbai, Dec 9: Western India Shanimahatma Seva Samiti held its 75th annual Shani puja and meeting at Fort VT on Saturday December 7.

Samiti honorary president, Harish G Ameen chaired the hall meeting.

Late Narayana B Salian Memorial Award was presented to Radhakrishna Shanishwara Mandira Dombivli president Somanath Poojary and his wife Sujatha Somanath. Senior member B S Kunder and his wife Rohita Kunder were felicitated by the guests of honour. Sitar musicians, Koragappa A Kotian, Prabhaker Guruswamy Pune, D B Ameen, Sadananda Anchan Thane were honoured. Students were handed over scholarships.



Office bearers felicitated the heads of institutions, representatives and members who collected the highest amount of donations for the samiti.

Samiti president, Jagadish J Kotian welcomed the gathering and gave an introduction. Office bearers were present. Vasanth N Suvarna introduced the guests, compered the programme and rendered the vote of thanks.
