Mumbai: Mohan Marnad presented Karnataka Nataka Academy Award

Mumbai, Dec 6: Karnataka Natak Academy Bengaluru, Mumbai University Kannada department and Karnataka Sangha here, held a programme at Kalina campus, Santacruz east to felicitate well-known dramatist, Mohan Marnad.

Chief guest, former president of Karnataka Natak academy, dramatist J Lokesh, guests of honour, Bombay Bunts Association and Jawab organization's former president, N C Shetty, film producer, Mahesh Talakad, Neenasam drama director, M Ganesh, Mumbai University Kannada department head, Dr G N Upadhya handed over the Karnataka Nataka Academy 2018 award consisting of Rs 25,000 cash, certificate, medal and memento to Mohan Marnad.



Several distinguished guests and elite were present. Bharath Kumar Polipu introduced the guests. Rajiv Naik in his speech congratulated Mohan Marnad. Shamala Prakash compered the programme. Karnataka Sangha honorary secretary, Omdas Kannangar welcomed everyone and gave an introduction. Nalini Prasad proposed the vote of thanks.
