Holiday can be declared with full pay by the Government, as the officials who declare this not at loss at all. In fact they may be claiming overtime work remuneration....!!!!!! Only private companies suffer but who cares....!!!!!??????

one more tamasha..most of the people will loaf around in beaches and malls.
The MCC overt turnout is always bad as per history. In some wards it is as low as 40%. People, including me have totally lost faith in all the parties.
None of the corporators or MCC officials are bothered about the encroaching of footpaths throughout the city by hawkers. Police turn a blind eye. Only two wheelers riding without helmets are being fined.
    Really pathetic.

Good. Common people, shake off your irrispobsibility and set out for voting. Let us be a model city by showing up 100% for casting our votes.

You will feel pride in developments taken up by the govt elected by you and your taxes are put for best use. And you can guiltlessly criticise when works are delayed.

Feel proud in being part of a democratic country.
