Mangaluru: Missing businessman Alex D’Souza found at Tannirbhavi

Mangaluru, Nov 5: Alex D’Souza, a businessman from Bejai, who was missing since Sunday, was found on Wednesday, November 6.

Alex (47) had left his home near Bejai Museum in the morning on Sunday, November 3. He went by walking. He was not seen after that.

He is well. Some people said that Alex had been sitting at the beach for some days. They only asked him last night why he did not go home. They did not get proper reply. Then some of them recalled that Alex’s photo had appeared in Daijiworld as missing person.

The family members of Alex have reached Tannibhavi.

Alex is a partner at Alsa Autometallica in city.

Kadri police had registered a case in this regard.

More details are awaited.

Sitting at the beach is much better than jumping. Everyone goes through some problems at some point of life. If that happens, sit at the beach if you must, but don't jump.

He had left his phone at home. Had his wallet with him. I'm sure he's going through some depression. Sometime u don't know what you are doing in such a state.

Thank god that the family is now relieved of his absence. Absolute stupid of his action putting the family into tears, fear and tension. He needs medical attention.

Problem is his photos are circulated in watsapp as missing person. Even though he is found now, everytime someone sees him may think that they found him and inform the same to his family or police that they found Alex. His photo may get circulated as' missing' even after he found, as people love forwarding without fact checking. Thi s is the fate of social media

    We can only complin always.
Why don't you start a whatsapp message that he has been found? Have his photo watermarked 'already found' and leave to float around on whatsapp and other social media.
