Mumbai, Nov 5: Indian journalist compendium organization, Delhi on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi honored governor Bhagath Singh Koshari at his office at Malabar Hill here on Monday evening.

In a simple programme held jointly by the compendium and Indian religious forum, well known social worker Dr Shanker B Shetty was felicitated considering his service for the progress of local languages, especially his Tulu language, religious and social service. The award was presented by the governor.



Shanker Shetty had been honored during Karnataka Rajyotsava 2018, in Kannada Kootas of America in Dallas last year, by International Man of the Year Award by Global Peace Foundation and International cultural fest in Washington, Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj Sadhana Puraskar 2018 at People Arts Centre, Mumbai and several such awards.
