Yadagiri: MLA Basanagouda Patil gets warning from Nalin Kumar Kateel

Daijiworld Media Network – Yadagiri (EP)

Yadagiri, Oct 18: “It is our responsibility to answer when our higher ups ask for explanation. It will be arrogance otherwise. The party has its own principles and framework. However big the person may be, he is an ordinary activist in the party,” said BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel warning MLA Basanagouda Patil.

Responding in Yadagiri circuit house to failure to respond by MLA Basanagouda Patil to the show cause notice by the party, he said one should speak within party principles once B Form is issued by the party. “It is natural that higher ups will ask for explanation when there are differences in behaviour of party workers. The high command has asked for explanation on those grounds,” he explained.

“It is the responsibility of all to provide explanation. The high command will ask for explanation from me if I commit mistakes even though I am the state president of BJP. Suitable action will be taken by the party if we fail to respond,” he warned.

Speaking about talk of differences between supporters of Yediyurappa and Kateel, he said that no such incidents have occurred. “Those are only imaginary incidents on social media. We do not have even minor differences. I obtain all the information from Yediyurappa. B S Yediyurappa is supreme for BJP in the state,” he said.
