Sharjah: Teenage driver loses control, runs into pedestrian, both die

Sharjah, Oct 11: In a tragic accident, two people lost their lives in Khor Fakkan area on Thursday morning, when a speeding car hit a pedestrian and ended up losing control and flipping over several times.

As reported in Khaleej Times, the police control room received a call at 8.20 am, following which traffic patrol and ambulances were dispatched to the site. The person driving the car was an 18 year old UAE national and the pedestrian was a 44-year-old worker from Pakistan.

The teen driving the vehicle died on the spot while the worker who was taken to the hospital passed away after a few hours of struggle.
