Mangaluru, Jul 27: As government careers continue to attract thousands of aspirants across the country for their stability, prestige and opportunities for public service, Mangalore IAS – A School for Civil Services has announced admissions to its new batches of coaching programmes for Civil Services and various government competitive examinations.
Located at the Sandesha Foundation campus, Premnagar, Bajjodi, Nanthoor, Mangaluru, the institute aims to provide quality, value-based coaching to students from coastal Karnataka and neighbouring districts who aspire to build successful careers in government service.

The academy offers comprehensive coaching for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, KPSC Competitive Examinations, Police Sub-Inspector (PSI), Armed Police Constable, Forest Guard, Excise Department, Forensic Science Department and several other government recruitment examinations.
The training programme follows a structured and result-oriented approach, combining concept-based classroom teaching with regular assessments, mock examinations, answer-writing practice, current affairs sessions and personalised mentoring. Students also receive interview guidance, personality development training and physical fitness coaching for recruitment examinations where fitness tests are mandatory.
Sharing the vision behind the institution, founder Santhosh Kumar said the objective extends beyond helping students secure government jobs.
"Our mission is to nurture competent, ethical and compassionate civil servants who can serve society with integrity and transform challenges into opportunities. Competitive examinations may appear challenging, but with the right guidance, discipline and consistent effort, success is certainly achievable," he said.
To cater to students at different academic levels, Mangalore IAS has introduced specialised programmes, including 'Start Early' batches for students of classes 8 to 10, 'On the Threshold' programmes for PU, undergraduate and postgraduate students preparing for UPSC and KPSC examinations, and 'Dream Challenge', an advanced weekend programme for dedicated Civil Services aspirants.
The institute has also launched a crash course for candidates preparing for government recruitment examinations such as police, forest, excise and village officer posts. In addition, a 'Train the Trainers' programme has been introduced to prepare aspiring educators for the large-scale teacher recruitment expected in Karnataka.
According to the institute, government service continues to be one of the most preferred career options due to its job security, structured career growth, attractive remuneration, retirement benefits and, above all, the opportunity to contribute to nation building.
Admissions for the upcoming batches are now open. The institute has announced limited seats along with scholarship opportunities for eligible candidates who register within the stipulated period.
