Mumbai: Man arrested for flashing at woman lecturer

Mumbai, Sep 23: A man was arrested by the Mumbai police on Saturday noon for allegedly flashing at a lecturer outside her college in suburban Vile Parle. The police came to know about the incident when the 39-year-old lecturer posted a photo of the accused on the twitter handle of the Mumbai Police.

As per Juhu police, when the incident happened, the lecturer was coming out of her college and the 21-year-old accused was standing behind an autorickshaw and watching a porn clip.

“While staring at the woman, he tried to expose his private parts,” said the police.

The woman clicked his photo on the spot and shared it on the twitter handle of Mumbai Police "This man was seen masturbating near Mithibai College just now. The minute I clicked his picture he ran away,” she tweeted.

The police have arrested the accused and registered a case under section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
