Mangaluru: PTA meeting held, renovated block inaugurated at Bertrand Russell School

Mangaluru, Sep 19: The inauguration of renovated block and Parents Teachers Association general body meeting was held on September 14 at Bertrand Russell English Medium High school, Baikampady.

Mohammed Rafeek, proprietor of Karavali Marbles and Granites, Kulai and Thokkottu, inaugurated the renovated block.

K Farook, working president of INTUC, NMPT Mangaluru, was the chief guest. President of Parents Teachers Association of the School Nithin Mendon and Siraj Kulai were the guests of honour.



The keynote address was delivered by the correspondent of the school Nisha Laxman. President of the school management Aboobakar Krishnapura in his presidential speech spoke about the role of parent in overall development of the child.

The president, vice president and executive members of Parents Teachers Association for the year 2019-20 was elected in this occasion. Diwakar was elected as president and Nithin Mendon was elected as the vice president.

The teachers of X std were felicitated in this occasion for securing 100% result for the academic year 2018-19 in SSLC board examination. The governing council members of the school management Hasanabba, Abdul Sattar and Haneef were present in this occasion. Headmistress of the school Geetha welcomed the gathering, and assistant teacher Amitha rendered the vote of thanks. Assistant teachers Sowmya and Shwetha compered the ceremony.
