Mandya, Jul 18: A couple killed themselves by hanging as they could not bear the burden of the outstanding loan they had taken to make ends meet.
Manju (50) and Indramma (45), daily wage laborers and residents of K Shttihalli of Maddur Taluk are the unfortunate victims of this tragedy.
The couple was working on a poultry farm for five years. As the money they earned was not enough, they had taken loans. However, as the burden of the loan became unbearable both of them hanged inside their house.
K M Doddi police have registered a case in this connection.
