Mangaluru, Jun 25: City police succeeded in nabbing four accused involved in cricket betting and seized a whopping Rs 54 lac cash from them.

City police commissioner Sandeep Patil is active on social media and makes use of online platforms effectively.

Mangaluru traffic police had installed LED display board at junctions such as KPT, Nanthoor and Jyothi circle which displays real time information.

Police commissioner Sandeep Patil has now made use of the LED display board at these junctions to appeal the public to make use of social media and file complaints and provide information to redress their grievances.

Police commissioner Sandeep Patil took up this initiative which resulted in nabbing the accused people, who were involved in cricket betting, based on the complaint from the public.

Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil said, "There is good response from the public for this initiative.”

    I do not agree with your comments as England may not enter even the semi-finals with their current form. If they loose to Australia today, there is only slim chances as the next opponents will be INDIA and Newzealand which may help Srilanka, Pakistan or Bangladesh chances getting brighter.
