Mangaluru, May 15: The leg parts of Shreemathi Shetty’s body were found concealed under some leaves near Srinivasa Mallya Park in Kadri on Wednesday May 15, it is learnt.

There is also unconfirmed information that the murder was committed relating to financial issues.

Shreemathi was found murdered on Sunday.

More details will follow.

Background

The body of a woman was found to have been chopped into pieces, and bundled in two separate bags. One of these bags were found near Kadri Park while the other was disposed of near the graveyard at Nandigudda in the city on May 12. Later, the identity of the body was established as belonging to Shreemathi Shetty, resident of Amar Alva lane in the city, who was running an electric appliances repair unit.

Shreemathi, a native of Polali Mogaru, was a divorcee. She had married a second time. Her current husband is in judicial custody relating to a case of theft, it is gathered. The two-wheeler on which she had left her home on Saturday, was traced from Nagori here on May 13.  The police teams have been vigorously investigating the case, by putting together clues from CCTV footage, eyewitness accounts, and questioning people having connections with her.

Deal with the iron fist with such rogues. No lawyer should take these criminal case, if they do so then it's against humanity. Whatever done was utterly gruesome.
But is it the same reason that she was murdered, shreemathi already got 40000rs from that so called criminals, then I think still a trust factor remains that she ll get the rest, then why would she act impatient. Furthermore why would these kill her. OK let's think they might have had verbal fight, and most of the time anyone party will get hit on head and then culprits abscond, but here they are making pieces of her body and I think the man is carpenter as if saw was ready in his flat and different gunny bags were ready and they were living in some bannerghatta like forest so as Noone saw this blood filled body lifted by him n put in the scooter.

Reminds me of a game called "Treasure Hunt" we used to play in our hey days. Maybe the assassin's were inspired by some adventurous novel or a film to commit this type of a heinous crime.
