Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a petty fight over Rs 10 cost a 38-year-old Bengalurean his life.

Bharani Dharan, working in a tile store visited Lavanya theatre on St John’s Road around 4.30 pm on Thursday May 9 to watch Tamil film Kanchana 3.

As the movie had already begun, he hurriedly parked his two-wheeler and dashed into the theatre. He was stopped by parking attendant Selvaraj, who asked him to pay Rs 10 as parking fee.

Shekar, a housekeeper rushed to Selvaraj’s rescue. Both allegedly dragged Dharan to a room and brutally assaulted him.

Meanwhile, another person who visited the theatre to watch the film called the police control room. Dharan who sustained severe injuries on head and chest was taken to Bowring hospital by the police but declared brought dead.

All fights should be limited to only verbal. Physical fight should be avoided for any reasons. People who killed will realize their mistake later. With some people you can't argue and they are ready to do anything. Even if you are right and others is wrong just say sorry to manage the situation. Just saying one word "SORRY" will completely nullify the other person's EGO and completely calm him down in 1 second. You will not lose anything by saying SORRY. This is my personal observation and I hope everyone will agree for this. LIFE IS VERY SHORT, WE ARE HERE TO LIVE FULL FLEDGED LIFE.

Treat everyone equally : security guard, auto driver, sweeper etc. All are human life basically and we created distinction between ourselves.

Sad..First of all the dead person himself started the problem. He could have first paid the fees as usual,or come before the film started ,so that everything would go normal.Important that was no need at all to hit the fee collector.Noone will be ready to be hit by a man for demanding fees.Because of a parking place ,paying fees etc ,many deaths have happened.Aggressivitaet plays a big role.Noone has time ,to wait, till next parkplace is free or everyone declares to say I came first etc.men get into streit,to argue and last noone is ready to give up and start to fight with whatever weapon they have, scissors knife, and with Pistole.Sad it came for a petty tenrupees fees.Heartfelt sympathy to the family.
