Mangaluru: Kannada suspense thriller ‘Anuktha’ set to release on Feb 1 across state

Mangaluru, Jan 27: One of the most awaited Kannada suspense thriller film ‘Anuktha’ is all set to release on February 1 in theatres across the state.

In a press meet held at PVR Cinemas on Saturday, January 26, Ashwath Samuel, director of movie, briefed the media about the details of release of the film.

“’Anuktha’ is produced by Harish Bangera under the banner of Deyi Productions. Sampath Raj and Anu Prabhakar are in the lead roles while Chidanand Poojary, Clody D'Lema, Roshan Shetty, Sunil Suwarna, Swarna Poojary, Vasu Kumar Shetty, Deepti Salian, Karthik Attavara, Sangeetha Bhat, K S Sridhar, Usha Bhadaru, and Lakshmi Siddaiah are playing important roles in the movie. Nobin Paul has worked on music as well as background music for the film. Santhosh Kumar, Konchadi and Karthik Attavar written the story while Naveen Sharma and Kiran Shetty written the dialogues. Cinematography done by Manohar Joshi while it editing work done by NM Vishwa.

“We all know that producers and directors of Dakshina Kannada have presented notable movies in Sandalwood. ‘Anuktha’ has also been produced in the same manner which is high in its making and the way of storytelling.

“The number of high quality films are on the rise in Sandalwood. New talents are coming through new films. ‘Anuktha’ is one such film. The film is woven around ‘Bhoothaaradhane’ that is prevalent in the coast. The movie is shot around the coastal region,” he said.

Expressing his satisfaction in movie making, producer Harish Bangera said, “Director Ashwath has created a visual wonder with this film. He has worked for many years in various serials on national TV channels. This experience helped him in the making of ‘Anuktha’. Being an NRI, his dedication and commitment for the movie highly appreciable.”

Expressing his happiness over his association with ‘Anuktha’ team, music director Nobin Paul said, “As a music director, ‘Anuktha’ is my first independent movie. It taught me me many new things. I am fully satisfied with this project.”

Naveen Sharma, Santhosh Kumar Konchadi, Karthik Attavar, Sudhakar Kudroli and other team members of the movie were present.

Earlier at the press meet, the trailer and audio of the film were released.
