Pandya, Mayank to join Test squad; Shaw ruled out


Mumbai, Dec 17 (IANS): Promising Indian opener Prithvi Shaw, who had suffered a left ankle injury during a practice game against Cricket Australia (CA) XI, was ruled out of the ongoing Test series against Australia, the BCCI announced here on Monday.

The board's All-India Senior Selection Committee named Karnataka opener Mayank Agarwal as Shaw's replacement.

Meanwhile, selectors have also added all-rounder Hardik Pandya to India's squad for the third and fourth Tests, slated to be held in Melbourne and Sydney, respectively.

India's squad for the 3rd and 4th Tests vs Australia:
