Tumakuru, Dec 8: BJP Yuva Morcha general secretary and son of senior BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa, B Y Vijayendra on Saturday lashed out at the Congress that it was trying to remove H D Kumaraswamy from the post of chief minister by talking about 'Operation Lotus'.

Speaking to media persons, Vijayendra said, "Some of the Congress leaders are conspiring to remove Kumaraswamy from the post of chief minister. Three senior Congress leaders are spreading rumours about 'Operation Lotus' and thereby trying to get ministers’ post."

"Those who failed to get ministerial berth are trying to malign the image of the BJP by claiming 'Operation Lotus' and poaching by us. It is not true. BJP is not trying to destabilise the present state government. Soon people will come to know about those three Congress leaders who are conspiring against their own government," he added.

He further said, "The present government is concentrated only on constituencies of Ramanagar, Hassan and Mandya. There is a Tughlaq rule in the state. The state is run by two people - they are H D Kumaraswamy and his brother H D Revanna. We will protest against the failure of present state government during Belagavi session."
