Mangaluru all set for biggest DJ party ‘Glow Out’ in support of girl child education

Mangaluru, Dec 5: A group of engineering students from Mangaluru are all set to host a DJ party event for the first time in the city for a cause.

With a new concept of raising fund for the development of 'Girl Child Education' in association with human rights committee, A2A Entertainment, a group of engineering students will be presenting 'Glow out'.

The DJ party will feature international artiste DJ Shaan, India’s first DJ to play at 'Tomorrow Land' and also youngest DJ to play at Sunburn Events at the age of 15, DJ Gaurav Mehta, DJ Axonn and DJ Clinton.

The DJ party will be held on December 8 at OLV Hilltop, Airport Road, Maryhill, from 4.30pm to 10.30pm. More than 1,500 people are expected for the event.

Some percentage of the profit would be donated towards the charity funds of human rights committee which would help in development of the girl child education.

Donation Box would be inaugurated by the delegates of that day, and the total amount collected through the donation box would be used for the same cause.

The organisers have booked 10 male and four female bouncers for the event. Entry of individuals under 18 is strictly prohibited. Strict security checking will be done by bouncers at the entry for the vigilance of any illegal drug. Also 4-6 anti-rowdy squad would be present at the venue in civil dress for maintenance of law and order. Police security and ambulance will be at the present at the entrance for any kind of emergency.

This event is legally preceded with all the necessary permission by the authorities.

The organisers said, "We believe that education of girls is very important in present world. We have seen lot of girls who have stopped studying due to financial problems, dropping of studies due to family issue, and early marriage etc. Hence to overcome these problems we thought of raising funds in a unique way and use it for a better cause, and for the better future of India."

Daijiworld and Smile TV are media partners for the event. The promotional partners are Uber Eats, Hookah, The Hire Network and AK Residency while Madhuban Graphics is printing partner.

    “Smiling face of every little girl is the sign of God's presence.” Our duty lies in empowering them to flourish their glory. Girls are pearls, ladies are rubies, mothers are moulders. Let us respect them and keep them in the place, which they deserve.
