Mumbai, Oct 29: The Kannada department of Mumbai University held a symposium on ‘Kannada Prajne ninne indu naale’ meaning Kannada awareness, yesterday, today and tomorrow at J P Nayak auditorium, Santacruz east on Saturday October 27.

Journalist Chandrashekar Palethady inaugurated the programme. Professor Baragoor Ramachandrappa presided over the programme.

University professors and authors took part. Mumbai University Kannada department head and Professor Dr G N Upadhya welcomed the gathering and delivered the keynote address.



Dr Shamala Prakash read vachanas of Basavanna. Kannada department professor Dr Poornima Sudhaker introduced the guests and compered the programme. Shivaraj M G thanked everyone.
