Mumbai: Assumption Church Celebrates Feast of Nativity

Mumbai, Sep 17: Asumpsanv Konkani Songh celebrated the feast of Nativity at Assumption Church Dhanukarvadi, Kandivli West, here recently.
The celebrations began by offering the novena to Mother Mary. Children offered flowed to the Maria Bombina statue. The new paddy corns were also blessed.
A Konkani cultural programme was arranged in the church hall after the Holy Mass. ‘Novem’ and ‘Sanna Roce’ was distributed to all.
Well known Konkani singer ‘Sangeet Samrat’ Henry D'Souza and Harryboy Vakola were the guests for the programme. Variety of Konkani entertainment programmes were held. A traditional meal was served after the programe.
