Bengaluru, Aug 14: Karnataka on Sunday, August 14, reported 1,837 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 10,922. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 1,108.
Three deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Sunday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,172.
The state recorded 1017 discharges from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total discharges to 39,80,172.
So far, Karnataka has seen 40,31,283 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 6.32%. As many as 11,73,60,461 people have received vaccination so far.
