Oman: Karnataka Sangha Salalah Organizes Inter-wing Anthakshari Competition

Oman, Feb 24: Karnataka Sangha, Salalah, under the auspicious of Indian Social Club, conducted an inter–wing Anthakshari competition for the regional wings of Salalah on Thursday February 19. 

Besides Karnataka Sangha, Malayalam Wing, Gujarati, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Ladies wings participated in the competition which was well attended by a huge crowd. Vijay Poojari announced the prizes. Following were the winners of the competition: 

First: Hindi Wing
Second: Malayalam Wing
Third: Karnataka Wing
  

The game show was conducted by Puchheri Ramdas Kamath, (Moodbidri) and Uma Kulkarni.  

Reggie Rosario, president, Karnataka Sangha, Salalah, welcomed the guests after a short welcome note by Rachna Vinod. M P Mandanna, president ISC, Salalah distributed the prizes to the winners. Dr Suhail Hassan proposed the vote of thanks.
