Awareness programme on importance of education held at Moodushedde School

Mangaluru, Oct 1: An awareness programme on the importance of education was organised by Dharma Jyothi Social Centre at Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Moodushedde, on October 1.

Advocate Nidhi, who was the resource person, explained the difference between education and schooling. He highlighted the importance of combining education with learning and encouraged students to develop a broader understanding beyond classroom-based schooling.

Renita Lewis from Dharma Jyothi Social Centre and the headmistress of the school were present during the programme.

A total of 122 students, MSW students and five teachers from the school participated in the programme. The session provided students with insights into the importance of education in their personal and academic development.
