Moodbidri, Sep 28: Proving that age is no barrier to achievement, 15-year-old Vishnupriya from Moodbidri has created a new world record by conducting youth orientation and motivational sessions at 51 schools in just 15 days, reaching around 4,500 students across Karnataka.
According to a report published by The Indian Express, Vishnupriya has earned a place in the prestigious Golden Book of World Records for the unique initiative, which focused on helping teenagers deal with mental stress, confusion and academic pressure.

The campaign, held from August 24 to September 11, covered schools in several districts, including Hassan, Kodagu, Bengaluru, Udupi and Uttara Kannada. She conducted approximately one-hour sessions at each school, interacting directly with students of Classes 8 and 9.
The programme was organised with the aim of giving students a fresh perspective on education, examinations and the challenges they face during their teenage years. Rather than focusing solely on marks, Vishnupriya encouraged students to understand the importance of proper planning, time management and managing pressure effectively.
Her sessions covered stress management, time management, practical study techniques and effective examination preparation. She also interacted with students and addressed their concerns and questions.
The scale of the initiative is what makes the achievement particularly notable. Within just 15 days, Vishnupriya travelled to 51 schools across different parts of Karnataka and shared her knowledge with thousands of students. The Golden Book of World Records closely monitored the initiative before officially recognising the achievement.
Vishnupriya developed an interest in psychology and counselling when she was studying in Class 6. For the past four years, she has been working to expand her knowledge in the field and has completed online courses through Indian Counselling Services.
She said she undertook the initiative with the intention of sharing the knowledge she had gained with other students rather than keeping it to herself.
Her objective, she said, was to help students understand how to manage stress, use their time effectively and prepare for examinations in a practical and effective manner.
The official recognition of her achievement will take place on October 1, when Vishnupriya will be presented with the Golden Book of World Records certificate at a programme in Moodbidri.
The achievement is significant not only because of the number of schools covered, but also because of the idea behind it — a young student taking what she has learnt beyond the classroom and sharing it with thousands of others.
By reaching 51 schools in 15 days, Vishnupriya has demonstrated how learning can go beyond personal achievement and become a means of sharing knowledge and helping fellow students.
