Mangaluru, Aug 22: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Father Muller Homoeopathic Pharmaceutical Division are jointly organising Prerana – Science Fest 2026 on October 27-28 at the Father Muller Campus, Deralakatte, exclusively for PUC and High School students.
As a prelude to the Science Fest, the official posters of 'Prerana – Science Fest 2026' and 'Medstart ’26' were released on Saturday, August 22 in the presence of the dignitaries and organising team.
'Prerana – Science Fest 2026' is envisioned as an exciting platform for young learners to explore science beyond the classroom through a science exhibition, interactive activities, hands-on learning experiences, over 13 engaging competitions with prizes worth over Rs 1.5 lac.







Students can participate in a diverse range of competitions, including Sherlock Challenge – Short Play, Science Quiz, One-Minute Scientist, Science Debate, Junk to Genius, AI Flyer Making, Shark Tank, Science Escape Room, Thematic Cooking Competition, Bio-Art Competition and Pencil Sketch Competition, along with several other exciting challenges.
The poster competition is open to both students and teachers, providing a platform to showcase creativity, scientific thinking and innovative ideas.
Science Exhibition – Exploring Medical Sciences
A major attraction of 'Prerana' will be the Science exhibition on medical sciences, featuring more than 25 interactive stalls. The exhibition will provide students with an opportunity to explore various aspects of medical and health sciences through engaging displays, demonstrations and interactive learning experiences.
MEDSTART ’26 – Hands-on Medical Training
As part of 'Prerana – Science Fest 2026', 'Medstart ’26', a hands-on medical training programme specially designed for PUC students, will be conducted on October 27-28.
'Medstart '26' aims to provide young learners with an exciting opportunity to experience the world of medicine through interactive, practical and experiential learning.
The programme will feature four engaging stations:
1. Save a Life – Basic Life Support (BLS) Training
2. Ready to Respond – First Aid Training
3. Science Detective – Exploring Science through Investigation
4. Science in Action – Interactive Clinical and Medical Learning
With two sessions each day, 'Medstart ’26' is designed to build curiosity, confidence and practical skills while giving students a meaningful glimpse into the medical profession.
Through 'Prerana – Science Fest 2026' and 'Medstart ’26', Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences aim to create an inspiring environment where young learners can explore, experiment, innovate and experience the excitement of science and healthcare.
