London, Aug 22: Chelsea forward Joao Pedro has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2034, the Blues announced on Saturday.
The Brazil international joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion in July 2025 and made an immediate impact, helping the London club win the FIFA Club World Cup.
Pedro scored twice against his former club Fluminense in the semi-final before finding the net again in Chelsea's final victory over Paris Saint-Germain, helping the side lift the trophy.

The 23-year-old continued his impressive form during his first full season at Chelsea, scoring 20 goals in all competitions and being voted the club's Player of the Season by supporters.
Pedro also scored Chelsea's opening goal of the 2025/26 campaign in the away match against West Ham United before later netting the only goal in a victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
He also made his mark in the UEFA Champions League, scoring twice in Chelsea's win over Napoli.
"I am very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea. I always dreamed of playing for a big club, and it means a lot to me to give my long-term commitment to this club. Chelsea has a long tradition of winning, and it has big ambitions for the future," Pedro said after extending his stay.
Pedro also expressed his excitement about the upcoming campaign under new manager Xabi Alonso.
"Everyone is very excited for this season. We know we can achieve a lot of things; we have a great team, we have a coach who wants to win and has already won. I am fully committed, everyone is ready, and hopefully we can achieve our targets," he said.
Chelsea, who endured a disappointing previous season and finished 10th in the Premier League, will begin their 2026-27 campaign with a London derby against Fulham on August 24.
