New Delhi, Jul 21: Every year, the announcement of the UPSC Civil Services Examination results brings new success stories into the spotlight. This year, one such name is Akshit Bhardwaj, who secured All India Rank (AIR) 12 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 at the age of just 23.
Achieving a top rank in the UPSC examination is no easy feat, as lacs of aspirants spend years preparing for one of India's toughest competitive exams.

Akshit himself admitted that even after the results were announced, he found it difficult to believe his achievement. According to him, it takes time to fully absorb and appreciate such a significant success. His journey highlights that along with hard work, the right strategy and patience are equally important.
Born on September 4, 2002, Akshit Bhardwaj is a resident of Delhi. He completed his engineering degree from IIT Delhi, one of India's most prestigious engineering institutions.
Like many IIT graduates, Akshit had several promising career opportunities before him. While most students from premier institutes aspire to secure high-paying jobs in leading companies, he chose a different path by deciding to prepare for the Civil Services Examination with the goal of serving the nation.
Preparing for the UPSC examination was far from easy. Akshit's journey was not without setbacks. As he began his preparation, he gradually understood the demands and pattern of the examination.
His first attempt was unsuccessful, and he could not clear the preliminary examination. However, instead of giving up, he reassessed his preparation strategy, revamped his study methods, and even changed his optional subject.
His persistence and determination eventually paid off, helping him secure an impressive AIR 12 in the UPSC CSE 2025, making his journey a source of inspiration for countless civil services aspirants across the country.
