Hyderabad, Jul 12: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has celebrated a major milestone after her latest film, 'Maa Inti Bangaaram', crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office within a month of its release.
The film, which hit theatres on June 19, has received a positive response from audiences and achieved the milestone in less than four weeks.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Samantha posted a special video in which filmmaker Raj Nidimoru surprised her with the announcement by showing the film's Rs 100 crore worldwide gross poster on an iPad. The actress appeared visibly emotional and delighted upon learning of the achievement.

In a heartfelt note accompanying the post, Samantha reflected on the anxiety she experienced before the film's release.
"Before the release of Maa Inti Bangaram, I remember obsessing over one thing: Were people even talking about the film? Were the assets we were putting out reaching people? Did they know this film existed?" she wrote.
The actress also recalled a conversation with an exhibitor who had expressed doubts about the commercial prospects of a female-led film.
According to Samantha, the exhibitor had remarked that audiences would not turn up for a heroine-centric film and that she was primarily recognised for glamour roles in films led by male stars.
She said such perceptions motivated the team to take a risk and expressed hope that the film's success would encourage greater acceptance of women-led cinema.
"I hope that the next time someone calls an exhibitor in a B or C centre and asks about a female-led film, the answer isn't an instant no. Maybe it's, 'Let's see.' Because the truth is, we will never really know," she wrote.
Maa Inti Bangaaram follows the story of a woman adjusting to life as a daughter-in-law in a traditional patriarchal household while secretly confronting dangerous figures from her past to protect her new family. Besides Samantha, the film stars Diganth Manchale, Gauthami, Chaitanya and Srinivas Gavireddy in key roles.
