Dubai, May 11: India national cricket team retained the No. 1 position in the latest ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings following the annual update released on Monday.
However, India’s lead over New Zealand national cricket team has narrowed from eight rating points to five.
India’s rating dropped by one point from 119 to 118, while New Zealand gained two points to reach 113.

Despite the slight decline, India continues to remain the top-ranked ODI side in world cricket. The team had also retained the No. 1 position in the ICC Men’s T20 International rankings following last week’s update.
Australia national cricket team, the reigning ODI World Cup champions, remained third in the rankings with an unchanged rating of 109.
The biggest movement within the top five came from South Africa national cricket team, which climbed above Pakistan national cricket team to secure the fourth position in the updated standings.
