Puttur, Apr 25: A boy died after allegedly coming in contact with a live electric wire at Gadiyara on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Shaheer (15), a resident of Kodaje near Neralakatte.
Shaheer, son of Sharif, was staying in a rented house on a plot in Ganesh Nagar near Neralakatte. As school was on vacation, he had gone to stay at his grandfather’s house at Gadiyara, which belongs to auto-rickshaw driver Puttakar.
It is learnt that Shaheer accidentally came in contact with the live electric wire on Saturday and died.
He was a student of a private school in Puttur.
