Bengaluru, Apr 15: Rasikh Salam Dar delivered a standout bowling performance, claiming four wickets as Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowled out Lucknow Super Giants for 146 in 20 overs in the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday.
After being put in to bat, LSG had a cautious start, with openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram struggling to find momentum against the disciplined pace attack led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood.
Marsh injected some momentum with a towering six, but Markram’s brief innings ended early when he miscued a slower delivery from Rasikh and was caught for 12. Soon after, LSG suffered a major blow as captain Rishabh Pant retired hurt after injuring his elbow.

The middle order faltered as Nicholas Pooran was bowled by Hazlewood, leaving LSG under pressure. Marsh attempted to stabilise the innings with a 40-run knock, sharing a quick partnership with Ayush Badoni before being dismissed by Krunal Pandya.
Krunal struck again to remove Abdul Samad for a duck, further denting LSG’s progress. Badoni and Mukul Choudhary tried to rebuild the innings, but regular wickets hampered any sustained recovery.
Badoni scored a fighting 38 before falling to Rasikh, while Mukul contributed 39 but was eventually bowled in the final over, again by Rasikh, as LSG were bundled out for 146.
Pant returned to bat later but could not make an impact, scoring just one run before being dismissed.
Among the bowlers, Rasikh led the charge with figures of 4/24, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets. Hazlewood also played a key role with an economical spell, conceding just 20 runs in his four overs.
Brief Scores: Lucknow Super Giants 146 all out in 20 overs (Mitchell Marsh 40, Mukul Choudhary 39; Rasikh Salam Dar 4/24, Bhuvneshwar Kumar 3/27) vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
