Mangaluru: Mercy Care Trust hands over new home to Albert D’Souza in Fajir

Mangaluru, Mar 15: The 10th housing project of the Mercy Care Charitable Trust, Mangalore (R) was handed over to the beneficiary in a simple ceremony held at Fajir on Sunday, March 15.

The newly constructed house was built for Albert D’Souza of Fajir as part of the trust’s ongoing mission to support families in need. The house was inaugurated and blessed by Fr Joseph Mascarenhas, parish priest of Fajir.

Former president of Fajir gram panchayat, Imthiyaz, attended the programme as the chief guest and delivered a message appreciating the humanitarian initiatives of the trust.

Trust president CA Maxim Fernandes presented the complete details of the project and highlighted the various charitable activities carried out by the trust for the welfare of the community.

The programme was compered by Vincent D’Souza.

Members of the trust, parishioners, and well-wishers were present on the occasion to witness the handing over of the house. The project marks another milestone for Mercy Care Charitable Trust in its efforts to provide shelter and support to deserving families in the region.
