Kasargod: One arrested for transporting MDMA in car

Kasargod, Feb 11:
The Vidyanagar police arrested a man on Wednesday, February 11, for allegedly transporting MDMA in a car.

The arrested individual has been identified as Muhammad Rafiq B (39), a resident of Kollangana.

The incident occurred during a routine vehicle inspection near the Vidyanagar Government College environment. Upon spotting the police, the accused attempted to evade the check and fled in his car. However, the police chased the vehicle and successfully intercepted it.

During a thorough search of the car, the police recovered 50 grams of MDMA, valued at lacs of rupees. The narcotics and the vehicle have been seized, and a case has been registered at the Vidyanagar police station for further investigation.
