Shahdol, Feb 9: A routine traffic check in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, has turned into a viral sensation after an elderly biker explained that no helmet fits his unusually large head.
The incident occurred when Vivekanand Tiwari, a traffic head constable and social media influencer popularly known as "The Traffic Cop," stopped the elderly man for riding a motorcycle without a helmet. When questioned about the safety violation, the rider dismounted and claimed that he could not find a helmet of his size in the market. (“Sir, mere size ka helmet he nahi milta.”).

Initially skeptical, Tiwari attempted to place his own helmet on the rider's head. The helmet failed to fit, proving the man's claim. Realizing the genuine predicament, the officer opted not to issue a fine and instead turned the interaction into a public awareness message.
In the video, which has garnered over 26 million views, Tiwari appealed to helmet manufacturers to produce larger sizes such as XL and XXL to ensure safety for individuals with similar needs. The viral moment also drew a response from Steelbird Helmets, which offered to provide a custom-sized helmet to the elderly rider.
Tiwari, who regularly shares traffic awareness content while off-duty, urged manufacturers to consider more inclusive sizing to improve road safety compliance.
