Cuttack, Dec 10: India registered a commanding 101-run victory over South Africa in the first match of the five-game T20 series at the Barabati Stadium on Tuesday.
Chasing a target of 176, the Proteas were bundled out for 74, as Indian bowlers showcased exceptional discipline. Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel claimed two wickets each, dismantling the South African batting lineup.

Earlier, India posted 175 for 6 in 20 overs, powered by a blistering 59 off 28 balls from Hardik Pandya, providing the strong base that proved too steep for the visitors.
The win gives India a crucial lead in the series as both sides prepare for the next contest.
