Mangaluru, Nov 25: St Theresa’s School joyfully celebrated the grade 1 Parents’ Day with the uplifting theme “Radiate,” highlighting the brilliance, innocence, and potential of young learners. The event brought together parents, teachers, and students in a vibrant celebration of togetherness and gratitude.
The programme was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Lyvia Cardoza, associate director at WNS Analytics – Capgemini. She commended the school for nurturing young minds with values, discipline, and creativity.
The correspondent, Sr Shaila, and the principal, Sr Lourdes, added grace to the occasion with their inspiring presence and guidance.
The celebration began with a soulful prayer dance, where the little ones invoked god’s blessings on their parents and families. This serene start set the tone for the joyful performances that followed.
The Welcome Dance by grade 1 students filled the hall with colour, rhythm, and charm as the children warmly greeted the gathering. Their innocence and confidence won the hearts of all present.
The highlight of the programme was the thematic presentation on “Radiate,” symbolising how children shine when they are nurtured with love, guided with discipline, and supported by a strong school–home partnership. Through expressive movements and coordinated performances, the students beautifully conveyed the message of radiating goodness, joy, and positive values.
The event concluded on a high note with an energetic entertainment dance, where the grade 1 performers showcased their enthusiasm and vibrant spirit, leaving the audience thoroughly delighted.
