Mumbai, Mar 17: Even before its theatrical release, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has taken social media by storm—not just for its scale, but for its reported runtime, which has triggered a wave of hilarious memes online.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, the upcoming spy thriller is reportedly 3 hours and 55 minutes long, excluding intervals and promotions. The lengthy duration has turned into comic gold for internet users.

Social media platforms, especially Instagram, are flooded with reels showing creators humorously preparing for the film as if it were an overnight journey. From packing suitcases to carrying snacks, blankets and even pillows, users are jokingly treating the theatre visit like a long trip.
In several viral clips, groups of friends are seen rolling luggage out of their homes, announcing plans to watch the film, while others depict families stocking up on food as if heading on a train journey. Memes have also imagined extended interval breaks turning into full-course dinner sessions.
Despite the humour, excitement around the film remains high. The movie is set to release on March 19, with paid preview shows scheduled a day earlier. According to trade estimates, advance bookings for preview shows alone have already crossed ?37.11 crore, indicating a strong opening at the box office.
The sequel continues the story of Hamza Ali Mazari and his pursuit of Major Iqbal. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in key roles.
