Mumbai, Nov 17: Days after veteran actor Dharmendra returned home from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, his longtime friend Shatrughan Sinha visited Hema Malini’s residence to check on the family. On Monday, Sinha shared photos on X, featuring himself, wife Poonam Sinha, and Hema Malini, along with a warm message.

Sinha wrote that he and his “bestest half” met the actress-MP to offer prayers and inquire about Dharmendra and the family’s well-being. His post drew emotional responses from fans praising the enduring bond between the stars.

Dharmendra was discharged early Wednesday after being hospitalised since October 31. Dr Pratit Samdani confirmed that his treatment will continue at home as the family opted for home care. A statement from Dharmendra’s family also urged fans and media to avoid speculation and respect their privacy, thanking everyone for their prayers.

The iconic actor, known for classics like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Dream Girl, was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He will next appear in Ikkis, releasing on December 25. Sinha and Dharmendra have shared screen space in films such as Zalzala, Loha, and Aag Hi Aag.
