Kadaba, Nov 2: A clash broke out between two groups of fish vendors near the Santhekatte fish market in Kadaba village on Saturday November 1, following a verbal altercation over fish sales.

A video of the incident, which surfaced later, showed a heated exchange between two shop owners that escalated into a physical fight. Upon verifying the video, Kadaba police sub-inspector Abhinandan M S found that an argument over fish sales between shop owners Raju Mathew and Adam led to a public brawl involving five individuals Raju Mathew, Adam, Fayaz, Rakshith Mani, and Noufal.

As the altercation disturbed public peace and order, a case (Crime No. 73/2025) has been registered at Kadaba police station under Section 194(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023. Investigation is in progress.
