Bengaluru, Oct 31: The cameras have stopped rolling, and the buzz is beginning to brew — Operation London Cafe, one of the most eagerly anticipated multilingual films of the year, has wrapped up shooting. Produced under the banners of Indian Film Factory (Udupi) and Deepak Rane Films (Marathi), the film is a collaborative venture by Vijay Kumar Shetty Hawral, Ramesh Kothari, Deepak Rane, and Vijay Prakash. Shot simultaneously in Kannada, Marathi, and Hindi, the film aims to bridge linguistic borders and deliver a pan-Indian cinematic experience.
After charming audiences with his debut Jilka, where he earned the tag of “lover cum chocolate boy”, Kavish Shetty now swaps sweetness for swagger. In Operation London Cafe, he dons a rugged, mass-action persona. The film’s teaser and posters have already hinted at his transformation, positioning him as one of Sandalwood’s most promising new action stars.

Sharing the screen with him is the ever-graceful Megha Shetty, who steps into the role of a small-town schoolgirl with a rustic charm. Her earthy performance and authentic get-up, say insiders, are set to add emotional heft to the high-octane narrative. “It’s a character rooted in simplicity but full of heart,” Megha is quoted as saying, hinting at a performance that blends innocence with intensity.
Helmed by debutant director Sadagara Raghavendra, Operation London Cafe brings together a stellar mix of talent from both Kannada and Marathi cinema. The cast includes B Suresha, Dharmendra Urs, Krishna Hebbale, Neenasam Ashwath, and Ashwini Chavéra, creating a rich blend of acting styles and regional flavours.
Behind the lens, R D Nagarjuna captures the visual essence, while Pranshu Jha provides the musical heartbeat. The film’s art direction is by Varadaraj Kamath, and the adrenaline-fuelled action sequences are choreographed by Vikram More, Mass Maada, and Arjun Raj. The lyrical side of the story is woven by noted writers Kaviraj and Dr Nagendra Prasad, promising both mass appeal and poetic finesse.
The soundtrack, featuring voices such as Anirudh Shastry, Brijesh Shandilya, Aishwarya Rangarajan, Sri Lakshmi Belmannu, and Prithvi Bhat, blends melody and energy. According to the makers, the songs — a mix of heart-thumping numbers and soulful tunes — are “designed to resonate with every emotion the story carries”.
With filming complete, the team is now gearing up to unveil the film’s songs and official trailer in the coming weeks. “Operation London Cafe is an action-packed story told with heart,” producer Vijay Kumar Shetty remarked.
Blending action, emotion, and melody in equal measure, Operation London Cafe is poised to be a stylish cross-cultural entertainer — a film that promises to serve up its drama hot, strong, and full of local flavour.
