Mumbai, Oct 25: The Hindi film industry was plunged into grief on Friday following the sudden demise of veteran actor Satish Shah, a beloved figure known for his impeccable comic timing and warm on-screen presence. Heartfelt tributes poured in from across Bollywood, as colleagues and friends remembered him for his immense talent, humour, and generosity.
Actor R. Madhavan expressed his sorrow, writing, “The heavens will be a merrier and a happier place now. Satish Ji, you’ll make the Gods laugh out loud as they admire their own creation. Thank you for being such a solid wind beneath my wings early in my career and for always believing in me. You will be missed deeply, Satish Ji. A void that can never be filled… Rest in eternal peace, sir. OM Shanti.”

Kajol shared a poignant note on social media: “Gone too soon, but your laughter will echo forever. Rest in peace, Satish Ji.”
Aamir Khan Productions also paid tribute, stating, “You’ll always be remembered with a smile. Rest in peace, Satish Ji. — Team AKP.”
Actor Sunny Deol wrote, “Very sad to hear about Satish Shah. We’ve done a few films together — he was a fine actor and a beautiful human being. My deepest condolences to his family. Om Shanti.”
Filmmaker Farah Khan, who directed Shah in Main Hoon Na, recalled their friendship fondly: “Rest in peace, dearest Satish. You were a joy to know and to work with. Will miss you sending me memes and jokes every day.”
