Mangaluru police investigate case of man missing since Bengaluru trip

Mangaluru, Oct 24: The Konaje Police have registered a missing person case for Ameer Malar (46), son of P M Mohammed, a resident of Akshara Nagar, Malar, Pavooru village, Ullal taluk, following a complaint filed by his wife, Ramlath.

According to the complaint, Ameer Malar had travelled to Bengaluru for work about four years ago. He last contacted his family via phone on June 11, 2022, confirming his arrival in Bengaluru. Since then, he has not been in touch, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Ramlath reportedly delayed filing the report, hoping her husband would return soon and to avoid unnecessary attention to family matters. Based on her written complaint, a case has been registered under Section: Missing Person – Male, FIR No. 124/20025 at Konaje police station. The investigation is currently ongoing.
