Moodbidri, Aug 23: Two masked men were caught on CCTV stealing cattle near a cooperative society at Bark Betta in Banangady, Kallamundkur, on the night of August 19.
The footage shows the duo arriving in a vehicle and luring two cattle with what appeared to be biscuits. They slowly tied the cattle with ropes and fastened them to a nearby pillar. Later, joined by a third person, they opened the rear door of the vehicle and, with great effort, loaded the animals inside. The vehicle was seen coming from the Moodbidri side and returning via the same route.

Following the incident, Balaram Prabhu lodged a complaint at the Moodbidri police station. Police have registered a case and expressed optimism about tracing the cattle thieves.
